I like marios, the food is decent, the people are nice. Its plain and simple pizza. No frills. I enjoy it.

We ordered a medium pepperoni pizza, an italian sausage, peppers, and onions sub, and garlic knots. The pizza was pretty good, but everything else was horrible. The sub had barely anything in it and was drowned in red sauce, the fries were soggy, and the garlic knots were so burnt that they had no flavor. We used the delivery service, and it was fine. I don't blame them for the quality of the food. We definitely won't be ordering from them again.

This place was average at best the two lady waitresses were awesome but the bottom of the pizza is too soft for my liking. Unfortunately we won't be back

Stayed in a cheap motel on a long road trip...too exhausted to go find healthy food and needed delivery. They were very pleasant on the phone and the delivery was inexpensive and fast. The sauce! OMG was that good. I got calamari and a Stromboli (spelling) and both came with their marinara sauce. I could have skipped the food and just eaten the sauce with a spoon. Not that the food wasn't good, it was. The bread on the Stromboli was very good (assuming that's the same as their pizza dough). There was a ton of cheese and pepperoni inside, so much I couldn't eat much of it. But the sauce...did I mention the sauce?

Stayed in local motel last weekend and ordered a pasta dish from Mario ' s and they sent no utensils. I called and they told me to blame it on delivery service. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered salad this weekend and they sent no salad dressing. When I called the idiot who answered the phone asked ME what I wanted him to do about it. Guess who they'll never get as a customer again

We had had take out spaghetti and meatballs some time ago but had never dined in until today. A few more experiences at Mario's, and I might be ready to give it 5 stars. Off to a good start today with a delicious meat calzone... WHICH WAS not only one of the best tasting meat calzones I've ever had, it was BY FAR the prettiest calzone ever presented to me on a plate! Almost looked like a beautiful shiny ruffled-lace dough collar surrounding the side of marinara... which is outstanding! It was steamy hot, and soooo good. The manicotti topped with marinara and served with garlic bread that my wife had was also very tasty. So much on the menu yet to be explored. Prices are very reasonable, there are daily specials, there is a lunch buffet, it is a family business, everything is fresh and cooked to order (so it takes just a bit longer), and online orders can be delivered for a small charge using Ezy-E's delivery service. The ONE price that seemed somewhat above what would be expected was the $3.25 price for a side salad to accompany a meal. Not planning to sell many side salads, I guess. NO SIDE SALAD is worth that much as an add on to an entrée, Few restaurants in this price range charge that for a side salad, & some include a small side salad! I admit that I have NOT SEEN the Mario's side salad... it might be spectacular, but I'm doubtful. DINNER entree salads at fast food places are not much more expensive... including the grilled chicken, chef's additions, or taco conversion. Luckily, I do not go to Italian restaurants for the salads. Many items are under $10 including buffet, entrees, and small individual pizzas. With appetizer, 2 entrees, & drinks the $20-25 or so price point is likely for two. Most expensive is NY Strip Steak Pizzaiola @ $19.95... and the 18-inch pizzas. Restaurant is very clean... lots of mirrors that sparkle with no fingerprints. The music offered for dining is a bit loud, not offensive exactly but not an "expected" relaxing selection of Italian tunes such as found at Maggione's.

If you want a cheap no frills buffet, this is it. They have no selection (2 pies), 2 pastas and some knots. No salad or other items. You get more for your money at CiCi's. Not a place I'll be going back to.

For a long time this was our favorite place in Rock Hill. Now called Mario's Pizza, they say they haven't changed the menu or recipes but the quality of food is much lower. We ordered the Greek pizza: it's crust was hard and there were so few toppings that the sauce had burnt through the cheese. The whole thing tasted like burnt tomatoes. Our favorite appetizer is the spinach triangles, and they were amazing as always.

My significant other and I went here and really liked the food. It's very quiet and not the atmosphere if you want to have a good time/experience. We both tried the calzone and mozzarella sticks only because the buffet was uninspiring. I like pepperoni pizza, but I need more variety for a buffet. Loved our appetizer and meal and the calzones were so big we both had to get a box.Their marinara tastes homemade and we both loved it. Might just get take out from this place from here on though.

As much as I enjoy their food, I have to give this three stars due to the spotty service. Holy cow, you never know what you are going to get in the way of service! But, it does provide entertainment to bet on what it will be today.... Despite that issue, the food is always good. I have been for lunch and dinner and it's always delicious. I really like their marinara, which is completely different than the old Tony's sauce (which this restaurant was once part of the Tony's Pizza franchise). I prefer stromboli to the pizza buffet - and it's awesome. Breadsticks are soft and soooo tasty! I've taken several friends and family members - everyone always enjoys the food. Roll the dice and try it out.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
